What is a "No Hit Zone"? It’s a place—a home, school, hospital, clinic, religious institution, or a neighborhood or community—that establishes an environment of comfort and safety for parents, families, and staff. A No Hit Zone is committed to addressing corporal punishment by promoting effective parenting techniques that influence attitudes, norms, and behaviors.

Randell C. Alexander M.D., Ph.D., is Professor & Chief, Division of Child Protection and Forensic Pediatrics, and Program Director, Pediatric Child Abuse Fellowship, at the University of Florida Jacksonville. Previously, he directed the state of Florida’s Child Protection Program and has been involved for many years in local and regional child death review teams. Randy has served on several committees and boards of directors, including for the National No Hit Zone Committee, APSAC, the International Advisory Board of the National Center on Shaken Baby Syndrome, and ISPCAN.

Stacie Schrieffer LeBlanc, MEd, JD, is is the immediate past president of the American Professional Society on the Abuse of Children (APSAC), the co-founder of The UP Institute, the Executive Director of Up For Champions, and a CAST instructor at Tulane University. Stacie is the Chair of the National No Hit Zone Committee, and she serves on the Executive Committee of the National Initiative to End Corporal Punishment. Stacie has been working in the child maltreatment field for more than 32 years and spent 10 years leading a child abuse felony prosecution program that reached a 94% conviction rate.
