Building on the energy and the Call to Action of the 1st Global Ministerial Conference on Ending Violence Against Children, the International Consultation of Child Helplines will be an opportunity for our key partners, member child helplines worldwide to meet, deliberate, share experiences and good practices.

CFTSI is a brief 5-8 session evidence-based treatment that was developed for implementation with children soon after a recent traumatic event or disclosure of physical or sexual abuse. 70-80% of children who complete CFTSI experience enough relief from symptoms that they do not need additional trauma treatment.

A trauma-informed, evidence-based intervention designed to improve the relationship between children aged 5-17 and their caregivers by addressing individual and family problems related to family conflicts, behavior problems, anger, harsh physical discipline, verbal and physical aggression and physical abuse.

TF-CBT is a short-term evidence-based treatment for children and adolescents, aged 3-18 who have experienced trauma and are experiencing trauma symptoms. TF-CBT has robust research that supports the model’s effectiveness in helping children and families overcome the impact of child abuse and trauma.
