The session will be interactive, bringing forth speakers from the three countries and one TdH NL staff.

Creative methods will be used to include children's voices highlighting contexts, challenges and what needs to be done to ensure children are protected against OCSE and that trauma-informed services are provided to survivors.

Discussion with government representatives from Kenya, Ethiopia and Uganda will entail a brief introduction about common points and differences in context (OCSE, legal and institutional ). Audience will engage through Mentimeter to share their views on what works to facilitate collaboration across multiple sectors and any specific challenges related to the topic of OCSE that need to be addressed to facilitate replication.

The session will culminate in the co-creation of a learning paper focused on strengthening response mechanisms. This document will outline system-level strategies designed to be adapted and scaled, ultimately fortifying legal and policy frameworks to protect children across East Africa.
