Thank you for your interest in hosting an ISPCAN International Congress!
This Expression of Interest (EOI) form is the first stage of the Host Selection Process for International Congress.
Please complete the form with high-level information about your proposed destination, local partnerships, scientific vision, and financial model.
Detailed guidance is provided in the ISPCAN International Congress RFP and the EOI Checklist.
Submission of an EOI does not constitute a formal bid — shortlisted applicants will be invited to submit a Full Bid Proposal.
A preview of the main questions is provided below, as the electronic form must be submitted in one session. You will need approximately 30 minutes to complete the form, so please ensure you have all the required information prepared:
- Name / organization / title for the submitter and for the local partner lead
- Two proposed date options for the congress
- Proposed destination
- Main scientific theme + 4-6 subthemes
- Legacy impact ideas and goals
- High-level government representatives or notable patrons to provide visibility and/or financial support
- Scientific partner organization, including leadership, mission, and programs; description of motivation to host the congress and confirmation of ISPCAN membership
- Additional local support organizations (list at least three individuals or organizations willing to support planning, promotion, and participation in the scientific committee, ensuring cross-sector representation such as government, academia, NGOs, and healthcare)
- Convention Bureau details: lead contact, description of support provided (e.g. site visits, sponsorship, PCO sourcing), and any incentives such as in-kind contributions, travel discounts, or delegate support
- Congress sponsorship: list 3–5 confirmed or potential sponsors and indicative contribution amounts
Once the EOI is reviewed, it may be accepted as submitted or returned with requested modifications. Approved applicants will be invited to submit a Full Bid Proposal, including a detailed budget and further information on the venue and cost structure, ensuring a financially viable model aligned with the expected number of participants
