Multi-sectoral child protection working groups – does your country have one?
Dear ISPCAN Members,
We know that a key pillar of success – and often a major challenge – in developing an effective child protection system is the coordination of different sectors.
We are gathering information about multi-sectoral child protection working groups (or similar). Does your country have one? We would be so grateful if you would tell us about it in this very short 6-minute survey.
https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/F9TJ72DThe information will help us to support the development of the international community of child protection practice, and in particular provide more support for governments through the Rise Up Policy Forum initiative, promoting a public health and system-strengthening approach to preventing child abuse and neglect across six pillars:
1. Advancing data driven and evidence-based solutions to end violence, abuse and neglect of children
2. Improving policies and legislation
3. Creating an effective governance and multi-sectoral coordinated response
4. Investing in national action plans and bringing solutions to scale
5. Ensuring child rights through primary prevention, early intervention and response services (universal care)
6. Establishing mechanisms for people with lived experience (child and adult) and community participation in solutions

Thank you so much for your help!
