      Language and other Special Needs

      The Uganda 2026 Huddle and Rise Up Policy Forum will be conducted in English, with simultaneous translation in French in the main plenary room and breakout rooms. We are exploring the use of affordable AI translation apps to offer translation into other languages to make it affordable and offer maximum participation opportunities.  Use of a personal smart phone will be necessary for those participants needing translation.  For any other special accommodation requests, please note them in the registration form.

      Registration Guidelines

      How To Register
      • Registration can be made through the online system, accessible via the blue buttons below.
      • Everyone must create a new account (even ISPCAN members) before registering.  Using a personal email address when creating a new account is advisable. This is especially important if your work email has strict security settings that may block emails from the event organisers.
      • Registration will be a two step process.  Once you complete the first step, if you are approved, you will be emailed the link to complete the registration.  
      • After registering, you will receive a confirmation email.

      Three day ticket:
      Early bird rate - $215 USD until 22 May 2026.

      Standard rate - $250 USD from 22 May-1 June 2026.

      Registration closes 1 June 2026.


      ** All non-members who pay and register for the Congress will automatically become ISPCAN Members for one year.

      3-Day Registration Includes:

      • Admission to all sessions 24-26 June 2026 
      • Catering including morning tea, lunch, and afternoon tea daily
      • Complimentary ticket to the Welcome Reception held on Monday 24 June

      All delegates, including government representatives, are responsible for covering their own costs to attend the Huddle and Rise Up Policy Forum. However, a limited number of complimentary registrations are available for governments actively participating in the programme. (Contact policy@ispcan.org for information).

      We regret that funding is not available to support travel, accommodation, or related expenses. If cost presents a barrier, we encourage governments to explore potential support through collaboration with funders, development partners and civil society organizations, who may be able to assist in facilitating attendance.

      • All payments must be made in US Dollars.
      • Full payment is required within seven days of completing online registration via bank transfer, credit or debit card payment. 
      • All early bird payments must be received by 22 May 2026 to qualify for early bird rate.
      • All standard rate payments must be received by 1 June 2026.
      • Registrations that have not been paid for within seven days may be cancelled.
      • Invitation letter for visa purposes will only be issued after full payment is received. Government invitation letters can be issued in advance of payment.

      Visa invitation letters will be provided on completion and payment of registration. Once payment is complete, you will receive a visa letter from the local organizers.  If your visa is denied, you will be refunded your registration. We advise applying for your visa at least 6 weeks prior to the event start date for this to be accepted. Government invitation letters can be issued in advance of payment.

       

      All paid attendees of the conference will receive a certificate at the conclusion of the event for 3.0 Continuing Education Units (CEUs).

      The African Rise Up Policy Forum is convened by ISPCAN and hosted in partnership with the Government of Uganda.  This event will also be developed in partnership with The Haruv Institute, regional partner organizations including ISPCAN’s African country partners AfriChild Center and Impact Innovations Center, members, practitioners and researchers, who will provide further technical expertise and support.
